Set in the heart of Maiera’s historic centre, with its labyrinth of narrow streets and stairways, Maiera has a magical feel and strong sense of history. The village has a real sleepy almost dreamy feel to it. Away from the hustle and bustle of the local coastal towns and because of its height it is thankfully slightly cooler in the summer.
